Linguine & Clams Sauce

A classic Italian dish that combines tender pasta with a savory, garlicky broth made with clams, white wine, and olive oil. This simple yet elegant recipe delivers a burst of ocean flavor!

INGREDIENTS:

1 box of linguine
-
3 tsp of unsalted butter
-
8 fl oz of clam sauce
-
2 cans (6.5oz) of minced clams
-
Oregano
-
Parsley
-
6 cloves of garlic
-
1/3 cup of cooking dry white wine
-
Parmesan cheese (as desired)
-
Olive Oil
INSTRUCTIONS:
⋄ Step 1:
Using a medium pot over medium/highheat, start with boiling a pot of water for your pasta.
Once your water is boiled and ready, add all of the pasta
⋄ Step 2:
In a medium sauce pan, melt 6 tsp of unsalted butter in medium heat
Add the clams with the water into the sauce pan and stir
⋄ Step 3:
Using a medium pan, add an 1/3 cup of clam juice into the pan & 1/3 cup of cooking white wine
⋄ Step 4:
While the clams are cooking, drizzle olive oil into the pasta so the pasta does not stick
⋄ Step 5:
Now add 6 cloves of garlic into the pan and gently mix till the mixture has blended well in the pan & let it simmer gently
⋄ Step 6:
Cut 1/2 cup of fresh parsley and add into the clams mixture
⋄ Step 7:
Once the pasta is al dente, drain the water out of the pasta and pour the clams mixture with the pasta and stir. Add shredded parmesan cheese as desired and serve
Garnish with salad and Italian bread.
